Terence McKenna - Born in 1946, author and explorer Terence McKenna has spent the last twenty-five years in the study of the ontological foundations of shamanism and the ethno-pharmacology of spiritual transformation. McKenna, the founder of Novelty Theory, graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a distributed major in Ecology, Resource Conservation and Shamanism.

Jill Purce - Jill Purce pioneered the rediscovery of ancient vocal techniques, the power of group chant, and the spiritual potential of the voice as a magical instrument for healing and meditation, and introduced overtone chanting and other healing voice workshops into Europe, North America and Japan. She lives in Hampstead, London, England with her husband, the biologist Rupert Sheldrake and their two sons.

Ralph Abraham - Ralph Abraham was born in Vermont in 1936 and earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1960. He participated in the creation of global analysis, a new branch of mathematics, while teaching at the University of California at Berkeley, Columbia University, and Princeton University. He has been at the University of Santa Cruz since 1968, where he has been a leader in the new theories of nonlinear dynamics, chaos, and bifurcation.
